Why Cosplay?
I've always been a creative mind, even when I was a lot younger. Every World Book Day or Dress-Up day, I could always guarantee that I would look great!

I probably wouldn't be caught dead in a Beauty and the Beast dress now but, back then, it was easier for my mind to conform.
​
Going into secondary school, I worked out a lot of my anxieties stemmed from my appearace and how i was treated at school. I was always treated as the "ugly friend", so finding a way to escape was crucial to me.
Anime was the first step, and while that gave me a way to hide, it didn't change the sickly feeling in my stomach when I looked in the mirror.
So, of course my response to pretty video game characters and anime girls was "I want to look like them!"

And so that's what I did, I took a chance on finding something that could actually help me create the almost-perfect version of myself.

So here I am, six years later, doing what I love.

I made this Instagram account in 2019 to celebrate the beginning of my commitment to conventions in the UK.
It look a long time for it to really take off and I have had multiple usernames since the beginning.
This account is mainly for photoshoots or odd edits that i do of each character I cosplay or events I go to.

How did we get to "Razuberiimonsta" ?
Every account has a journey and my account wasn't always called "Razuberiimonsta". These username changes and style changes are things that I consider to be crucial in my account's growth.
Each username changed when something was different in my life.

At first this was a joint account and due to an argument we decided not to keep an account going together.
​
This was the birth of my solo Instagram "career".
​
I have aged through my usernames, learning that I didn't have to match my content to my username!
​
My account started to grow at the end of 2019, but I lost my account due to some issues. After it was brought back, I entered my new era.
